Well my first real problem has reared it's head as they say.

When I accelerate I now get a wierd noise, sort of a metal on metal vibrating type of noise.

Don't think it's heat sheilds etc. sounds more serious than that. No loss of performance etc. just seems to have to fight against something when I accelerate.
The harder I accelerate the worse the noise is. Almost like something vibrating against the car.

You can hear a vibration at idle, makes the car sound a bit rough. It's just a lot more noticeable under acceleration.
Feels/sounds as if something has snapped/broke. It's almost like I have snapped an engine mount causing extra vibration at idle and loads of extra noise etc. when under load.

Don't know a great deal about these cars but I'm thinking something to do with the drivetrain?

Any ideas appreciated. Taking it to dealers ASAP if I don't find it on Saturday.
