Is this slightly odd or what?
Since owning my uk Leggy turbo i have run it on 95Ron fuel and she has aways performed wonderfully. However over the past few months i have been doing lots of fiddling and during this time i have run her on 97 ron fuel.
After i did a service i took her out for a run and the boost cut to 5 PSI max. having spent ages wondering why, changing mafs, cleaning solenoids out etc. I decided to put 95 ron fuel back in, sure enough boost came back to 15 PSI and was back to normal.
Yesterday forgetting about this and not really realising a connection i went to the garage, brimed her with 97 Ron and came home to find after a while the boost level returned to 5 PSI max?
So whats going on here, is it me or does my car not like higher octane fuel?
Help me cus i don't understand
Cheers
