I have a new age ppp fitted with a vta dump valve and earlier on I noticed when I changed gear 3-4krpm that the normal noise was replaced by what sounded like the chatter you get on a wrc, this happened several times.
I stopped the engine and restarted it a minute later and all was back to normal again.

Is this something I should be worried about or should I just wait to see if it happens again??

I have also noticed that the revs dont seem to be dropping as quickly (again 3-4krpm) when I am in 3rd and 4th. Could these two things be connected??
