woke up this morning fed kids and self went out to garage to carry on re-building engine .started filling with oil and suddenly thought doh! havn't pre-filled filter i had already put in about 3 1/2L .i put a bowl under the filter and undone it expecting to get covered in fresh oil but nothing.i pre-filled the filter over about half an hour and still nothing out the bottom of the oil cooler .I stuck the filter on and carried on filling up checked levels ok i havn't driven car as i'm still sticking bits back on just wondered if anybody else has had a similar experience?
