Default Spark Plugs??

Hey guys.

Just a wee question about plugs.
Im getting judering when giving my 96MY STI a bit of lick at about 5000-6000rpm. Came to the conclusion that my ignition system is needing a service.

Whats the best make of plugs and what price would i be looking at???

Cheers.

Chris.

They're the ones but you can't tell if they are 6b's or 7b's from the pic, for an STi I would use, and do use, 7b's.

Actually looking closely at the base of the box I'd say they are 6b's
Good price though rrp is about £15 per plug

Rite. I got the mechanic to get me stuff from work 2day. He got plugs for very much cheapness. NGK Laser PLatinums. But they are the 6's. Mines is an STI V2. Does this make a difference? ITs no probs getting them changed if i need to.

Cheers.

6's are for a std car, however most will run better on 7's with increased boost, etc.............

I think 7B's are a good buy if engine modded a bit or you have aspirations for future mods, boost increase etc.

Mine have been super! No dearer IIRC than 6B's

NGK PFR6B's are std, 7B's are a bit cooler for the 300+ motors / higher boost, 8B's are more like racing plugs I understand IIRC, so what the hell are 9's like!

Maye be too cool / hard to run normal power and start, foul too easy ??

Any one know?
