Steering Fluid
blo*dy mates - a so called expert mechanic came over yesterday to have a look at my new car (01 bugeye), said he'd check it over for me which i thought was good of him.
He was under the bonnet while i was polishing the back and 10 mins later said he'd topped up the levels which were down.
He pointed out the coolant was on the min mark and he'd topped it up - he'd topped up the power steering with water!!!!!!!!!!!!
i've got the car booked in for a fluid change on weds but need to drive it tommorow (20 miles) - what damage will be done?
