Done a few mods to my MY00 after the tek3 ( sti i/c and backbox ) and as far as the knocklink is concerned, no problem. Wouldn't change from panel type filter to induction kit without gettiing the map checked though....maybe others have and it's been o.k?

Confusing info here, if you change a panel filter from one make to another then there should not be an issue, however if you change from a panel to an induction you could upset maf scaling and/or afr depending on whats fitted, going the reverse would be expected to run a car richer and could also upset any specific maf scaling that may have been mapped in to suit the induction.

so which are you considering ?
