Remapping with EBC fitted - best way?
Question for you mapping guys.
How do you go about mapping a car that has an electronic boost controller in place? Do you remove the boost controller, remap car then fit boost controller again (setting to desired levels) or can you remap with boost controller in situ?
My car currently runs a TEK2 map and HKS EVC5 but thinking a custom remap might be on the cards. (Read about ECU's being remapped in conjunction with EBC's but unsure how it's done).

You probably will get very little gain over a Tek 2 + EVC5 by remapping unless you have say a bigger turbo, intercooler, headers etc.
But if you are going to remap with the EVC on, just map it with it set to the range of boost levels you will use later.
