Wink APS Front mounted intercooler

Been think about getting a FMIC for a while and wondered what the APS one was like? Has anyone fitted one? Pictures would be nice. Does it become more laggy. I've got a TEK 2 on my RB5 amongst other mods, and was thinking of going for a 2.5 kit with hybrid TD05, etc, etc

http://shop.scoobynet.co.uk/Product.asp?ProductID=365

They're currently £900 which I thought wasn't that bad??

Thoughts please Phill

Steven,

Thanks for that mate, appreciate the reply. Other FMIC I've looked at is the PACE one, any views on this? It come with a uprated radiator and uprated fans!! Does anyone notice a high water temperature running the APS over the stock TMIC?

Well if it good enough for John Banks then it good enough for me John Banks has cost me a fortune over the years and looks like he's going to cost me a few more quid

Phill, as Johnny says, shame the rest of their stuff isnt this good.

Pace is crap IMo by comparison, and i noticed no water temp probs with the aps one.

I did a thread years ago on the itsall of mine. I butchered it to pieces now, so cant take any pics for you.

I had a look at Ross's intercooler in person - looks like a really neat job and includes the bumper

Dont bother with the PACE, its a waste of space APS for new age cars or Lateral Intercooler / Rad for classics everytime

Phill, make sure you've put aside £2000 for a six speed, gear linkage and propshaft. You will need it.
