Apexi power FC?
Hi all, thinking of getting an apexi FC and having it mapped by Andy F, anyone got these units and how are they? did you increase your standard boost level and fuel cut etc? if so how? is it all done in the mapping or did you use a manual boost controller, all advice appreciated, cheers

get a pfc ecu
get some form of boost control (dawes, avc-r etc)
get a bigger turbo (more power)
AndyF will then do the mapping which will include raising fuel cut level, raising boost etc.

do you have one fitted? im not sure about the turbo i have a VF22? andy said that you can increase the boost without a controller, assumed he meant in the map so i will get the boost controller too

I run an avc-r and Im about to install a td05.
I was advised that a dawes will be sufficiant, or even use the oe solenoid I guess but the avc-r allows in gear boost control to really optimise the cars performance.
Im not 100% about the hows and whys but a quick look on the search function wil show only excellent reviews of the controller.
They can be had for as little as £269 delivered new.
