I bought a HKS SSQV Dump valve 2nd hand about a year ago and only got to fit it to the car a short while ago.
When the pressure builds up I get a high pitched Sqealing (It sounds like air escaping when from a balloon when you pull it to make it squeal) from the area where the dump valve is under the engine bay which stops when the dump valve releases with the regular Woosh noise, and it doesnt reach the same boost levelas as before maybe .3-.4 bar lower than before it was fitted.
I'm pretty sure its the DV as all the connecting pipes were sealed with that red liquid gasket, and I can't see any evidence of leaking.
Is it easy to take the DV apart and gain access to the spring asembley? Changing the insert wont help will it?
Any ideas???
Thank in advance
