Unhappy Car wont start

I have just had abodykit fitted to my 99 impreza WRX,the battery went flat and was replaced with a new battery.
Now the car wont start,I have a Apexi ECU fitted to the car and have been told that the ECU needs re mapping.
Has anybody else had any similar experiance and if they have what did they doto get there car restarted?
Please help cuz its getting annoying now
thanks

I always thought that a Apexi ECU like most others would hold it's map even if disconnected. Does it just turn over or not even that?

is the fuel pump buzzing when you switch the ignition on???

the power fc will hold its settings even when removed from the car.

have you made sure your alarm/immobiliser is switching off.

alot of alarm systems don't like having the battery disconnected for a long time.
