Default Having a nightmare!

Left my car with a friend (who is a subaru mechanic) at the weekend while I was away in rainy (and f**cking expensive) Oslo for him to sort out my ABS, back springs and fit a TD05. On the way over to his to drop the car off on friday, experienced some mis-fire, nothing too serious, but as it was the first time it had happened, thought I had better let him know.

Just phoned him to arrange a time to pick up the car tonight, and was greeted with some bad news. He went to move the car on saturday morning and couldn't get her to start. He brought the diagnostic system home from the workshop and could not find any problems (he originally thought the misfire could have been caused by the crank sensor?). He has checked the spark and all seems OK and fuel is getting through to the chambers OK, but the car will only turn over, but not catch.

Has anybody else experienced anything similar??

Is it likely to be a broken sensor that would not show up on the diagnostics??

Is it possible it could be expensively serious??

Worried from Essex!!

Cheers

Ouch!!!

Getting no fuel pressure, so guessing the fuel pump has gone - this year has been expensive!!
