Default FAO anyone running Bosch coils!

Can anyone with a set of Bosch MEC723 coils test the resistance between the studs and the resistance between one of the studs and the plug lead output and let me know what the figures are?

1.1 ohms across the terminals
8.4k ohms across terminal to plug lead output

OK, measuring my 4 coils I get the following results:

Coil / Across the terminals / Terminal to output

1 / 1.3 / 8.92k
2 / 1.4 / 8.83k
3 / 1.5 / 8.93k
4 / 2.0 / 8.96k

Now I suspected before testing that coil 4 was the one giving me problems and the across the terminals fugure would suggest it is behaving differently, but terminal to output seems fine, whereas coil 2 has a lower output reading.

Does this mean both 2 and 4 are knackered or just 4 or just 2 or are they all fine?

OK, got a definitive answer from Bosch:

Primary coils should be 1.045 - 1.155 ohms, secondary coils should be 7.92k - 9.68k ohms at 20C so my coils are fubar after a year, which is a tad worrying.

Looks like I'm going back to original coil packs.
