MY94 WRX import failed today with a reading around CO 2.5, it has a HKS exhaust without cats...

I have read lots of posts, which suggest that the car shouldnt be listed on the MOT database but he scrolled through the list and it was listed under Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo....

If it indeed shouldnt be tested under this but under genaral, how do I convibce the tester this is the case as I have paid £35 for it.

Your car is not a Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo. That is the UK model.

I'd get as much info as possible and then go see the MOT man again.

Is there a website that the Ministry of Transport list the cars on the test list?

Also, does anyone know what the emission levels are for the standard test ie not 0.30 for the normal UK turbo model.

Just to let you all know that I went back to the MOT station and said that it wasnt the same car and he did the standard test and the car passed!!
