Knock Link Warning
Hi guys,
I think I remember reading about this before but I have taken my Knocklink apart to remount it more aesthetically and found that The red led and both ambers had come loose off the PCB !!!!!!!!!!!
Now my last engine went pop I might have been getting knock and not noticing it. They are still connected but very intermittent connections so the occasional test showed up ok. Just be very warey guys if this is your only form of knock monitoring....

I notocied they were all on the same side, I think its when they assemble it the wire that goes out of the box is quite stiff and pushes the pcb off centre so the leds when put in the holes in the box are being levered of the board. Its quite scary really

should be ok, you don't need it on when you are not driving. I think even the lighter and headlights on scoobs are ign live. I would use the lighter power as it's less stressed
