Apexi S-AFCII ? need info
Hi
i have a safcII on a car but have no knowledge of this system and how to work it
ive had a brief look and can see that it allows you to alter % at parts of the rev range with knock detection
i presume if all the settings are put to 0% then it has no affect to the std cars ecu
so i presume its a performance enhancing mod
im probly gonna remove it from the car as i can see it causing problems in the wrong hands
does it have a value and does any one want to buy it?
all experts reply at will

Hi Darbo_wrx.
SAFC is a Air Fuel controler
Take a look here:
Before

After
http://img13.photobucket.com/albums/...cnew1_copy.jpg
SAFC is a nice gagdet if you know what can you do with this. In a dyno with wide band A/F readings you can tune your fueling with great results.

S-AFC stands for Super Air Flow Converter. It allows you to change the MAF sensor value seen by the ECU. This influences the fuel injection and ignition timing.

another question, is it possible to remove the MAF and put in a MAP sensor instead?
In the Apexi S-AFCII menus there are diffrent options to choose right sensor, so i thougt maybe it´s possible?
Mikael.
