would fitting an ecu from a uk turbo impreza be better for my sti import?? i read that it can help in relation to british fuels

AFAIK,it cant be done.

In anycase,it wouldnt help the performance in any way and it wouldnt be mapped for the sti engine and turbo.

Not sure about a P1 ecu,but if it has a transponder key then it will be a pain to make that work also.

A remap is the only way out/forward.

Try BR developements (Bob Rawle) or Andy F.
Im sure theres more people that perhaps someone else could suggest.

BTW,if I am wrong about the UK ecu (transponder/immoboliser type) then please tell me how its possible to fit into a JDM car,I would realy like to know.
