Angry Scooby clutch problem

Hi All,

Just bourght a "98" UK scooby wagon which drives really well, infact its hard to fault. The only issue I do have is that under hard acceleration the clutch sticks down momentarally and then pops up to its normal position. This doesn't happen under normal acceleration, only hard accel. I haven't been under the bonnet to investigate as yet due to time constraints, thought maybe somebody could give me a pointer, anyone seen this before? Much appricated

Yep! loads of people have this issue. It only happens under full accelleration.
Get the clutch arm return spring checked for connection or indeed, does it exist.
Any dealer/specialist will do this for small£££.
