Angry Squeeky Window

Driver's side front window really squeeks when going up and down (mainly at the top). It sounds like the rubber seals are rubbing on the window (not scratching it fortunately).

Do I need to lubricate the window seal with something and if so what?

Anything else to try?

Cheers

Chris

Cool

Try silicon spray (Halfords or local motor factors). It will either be called silicon spray or lube, or some suppliers market it as rubber seal lubricant. Use plenty of it and wind the window up and down lots of times to get it well worked in. Never ever be tempted to do it with WD40 though as grit sticks in the oil and you end up with lots of scratches in the glass.

Thats should do the trick - good luck
