Default Scooby STi Type R 555 (98)

Hi All, picking up one of these tonight, it's done 70k miles with a full warranty rebuild about 20k ago, car looks spot on, and drives fine, now i've never heard a scooby engine right in front of me before, seem's fine but there is a constant tickign over noise which i would not be that bothered about before but just wanna make sure it's a normal noise it's not out of place or random just a ticking noise and wondering if anyone would possibly know what i mean by such a vague description? Is there anything to look out for with this car?

1 thing, it did not really amaze me acceloration, but perhaps thats becuase i'm used to driving 400+ bhp cars ? or could there be something wrong with it? its boosting at 1.2 bar with a hybrid turbo

wouldnt say knocking, but a ticking it's very even and like a constant ticking not random or uneven ticking but very in time, is this anything to worry about? is there any warning signs with these engines?
