Default airbags.....

Does anyone know how to disable passenger side airbags in a classic(my99)...Need to remove airbag for our new editions car seat apparently..according to the other half.

NOt sure if you can disable it, but you can bet your bottom dollar it will be illegal if you do and your insurance will then be void.

Why don't you put your new addition in the back then you don't have to worry about it.

I don't see why it should be illegal? My last car had a switch in the glove box to disable the airbag if you wanted to put a baby seat in the front.

On the other hand, I do agree that the baby seat should really go in the back - it is much safer, apparently.

is passenger side airbag not on a sepaerate fuse? I need to do this mod myself shortly! - although baby seat will more than likely go in the back.
