Default Knocklink / Lambdalink (AFR) doubts

Hi.

I'm planning to buy a Knocklink and a AFR meter (probably Lambdalink) in the near future, but i have a couple of doubts.

My first question is which one should I buy first (not enough funds for both ) : Knock or AFR? Which one is more important?

As for the AFR, I was considering the Lambdalink or an Autometer AFR gauge. Which one is better? The looks and price on the Autometer gauge are better, but it seems everyone goes with the Lambdalink.

And regarding the Knocklink, where is the best place to get a Knocklink display (only the display, as I can get the sensor really cheap)?

Thanks in advance,

Paulo

I would go for the Knocklink first.
As for your AFR, depends what display you like. They all are similar in what they do.
Choices : Dawes afr, lambalink, Autometer etc.

I would personally go for the Knocklink first without a doubt They are both available(Knocklink & Lambdalink) from HERE

Yep, KL is the one that makes you feel most vulnerable once its gone!

As for AFR, the Autometer one is my favorite (fitted a few of them ) as it shows you the off boost, closed loop activity, which the Dawes doesn't. Many will say that is useless, but it shows you more info when you've got a dead 02 / MAF sensor. Looks better too but make sure you get the silver bezel Scoobymania do it with an A pillar pod and work out cheapest IMO. BRD for the KL.

Both vital bits of kit IMHO.
