Picking up a vibration through the pedals
Has anyone experienced this before? A slight vibration/tremble through all 3 pedals whilst driving.
I notice it when driving over a surface that isn't smooth, i.e. a graded road & patch repairs, and it becomes even more obvious under braking (it feels a bit like abs, although much much much lighter and not at all purposeful or regular).
Last night I took off all 4 wheels, callipers and pads and inspected them and the discs. They were all fine, all had lots of life in them, all clean with no dust build up on the discs and clear of cracks and finally, no play in the wheel bearings.
There has been no work carried out on the car immediately before this started happening.
The car is a standard UK turbo.
The steering wheel doesn't vibrate at all, even under braking.
I've got a feeling it's probably not got anything to do with the wheels directly, but is indirectly linked to them, I also feel that it's a front thing, rather than a rear based problem.
Can anyone help me with ideas as to what to look at next please?
so far suggestions include droplinks...
Thanks in advance...
