Question Manual Boost Controller for £22??

hi guys,

was just flickin thru eBay and come across this:

would like to kno if u think its a bargain or cheap way to an expensive rebuild?

cant see the link because of work filters, but a proven method is to buy a JWRacing DawesDevice second hand on here for about 20 - 25 quid.
coupled with a knock link, afr meter and boost gauge its the cheapest biggest power mod going.
made my 99uk go to 257bhp at powerstation

cheers peanuts,

so u wouldnt recommend fittin the boost controller without all the rest of the bits u mentioned?

nope, not at all.
increasing boost without fuelling requires mucho monitoring for DET (knocking) and a carefull eye on the air/fuel mixture.
the whole lot can be bought on here for less than £150.
