Question ENGINE CLEANING!!!!!!

I want to clean my engine bay . ive bought some cd2 ebgine cleaner. just wondering should i cover anything up to stop it gettin water in eg , coilpack?

yesterday i had mine cleaned by a valet company we only covered up the main coil (dizzy) and it was fine, best eight quid i have ever spent it came out mint. i think u r meant to run it warm before doing it. hope this helps

intercooler fins,just cut out a piece of cardboard and slot it in..thats if you are using a pressure washer.

And i allways cover the alarm with rubber gloves etc
