brass boost restrictor
just spoke with dave henry cars about a replacement restrictor. I have an overboost problem and i need to put a smaller restrictor in to stop the problem. Dave henry cars stated that there is a ferm who drill restrictors to youre spec and someone on scoobynet will know who they are . Any one out there who can help.If not does anyone know the part number for the restrictor with a smaller bore than 1.1mm?

You don't want a smaller bore you want a larger one. If you get a smaller one it will increase the boost not lower it. I think you can buy the restrictors direct from subaru but I don't know the part number.

I bought 1.25mm and 1.30mm drill bits from an engineering suppliers and did it myself.

MY92-96 : smaller restrictor reduces boost
MY97-04 : smaller restrictor increases boost
Because on MY92-96 the restrictor is after the actuator using a 3-port solenoid and on MY97-04 it is before the actuator using a 2-port solenoid.
Just make one out of a bit of brass (or even plastic) bar and a small drill bit set.
