Default Ecutek monitor help wanted

I'm looking for the sensors for oil temp./pressure but I don't knwo if I need only the sensors or the sensor kit (something with a wire for the link unit or so...)
Has anybody installed those sensors on his/her Ecutek monitor and can give me advice about it ?

Thanks in advance

I'd recommend getting the kit. Saves a lot of messing around.
The pressure sensor is a straight replacement for your existing pressure switch.
The temperature sensor needs an adaptor (supplied in the kit) to enable it to fit in the correct hole. And dont forget a small amount of bluetack to hold the adapter/washer into your socket because unless you've got tiny hands you aint gonna reach the hole and still be able to wind the adapter in. Also a stubby spanner (sorry cant remember size) is highly recommended for tightening the sensor into the adapter, I managed it with a full size spanner but if I was doing it again I would defo go buy a stubby.

Best of luck to you.

I mailed several companies in the UK (I'm from Belgium) and or they never respond, or they claim that DEFI sensors won't work with an EcuTek monitor ??

What's going on here ? I really want those sensors !!!
