K&N Induction Kit on a MY99/00
Just looking for some feedback on people who have fitted these to their 99/00 Classic Turbos.
I have read all the reports that seem to dismiss induction kits etc....just wanted views from people who have fitted them
Anyone ?

the MAF on these years is particularly sensitive and prone to fail. i would steer clear of any induction kit. the panel sti filter may be an improvement over standard and may be worth a punt.

As above really - Noticed a loss in power due to the intake of warm air.
Only really any good if you enclose it in a box with a cold air feed to it.
Makes it SOUND faster LOL!
Replaced it with a K&N panel filter due to concerns about MAF and DET.
Standard airbox is good to around 350 bhp, so I'm told
Stick to a panel filter K&N, Green or STI
Avoid ITG due to oil contamination issues.
