Default Twin Scroll Turbo for a WR1 ??

Will a STi JDM Twin Sctroll Turbo fit onto a WR1?

will it just bolt on . and bobs your uncle ? or is there more too it than that ?

Does anyone know if it can be done, as i would like some power low down, and i have heard that is what the twin scrolls provide int he STI JDM cars.

No mate it won't

You would need a set of equal length headers, up pipe and new downpipe.

Plus all the mapping required.

You could always get Dr Rawle to map it properly.

Oh! Right, that's surprising. A set of equal length headers will give you a few extra lbs ft of torque low down.

Question

i am surprised a remap cannot do much about low down torque as on of the best things about tsl remap is the low down driveabilityeg town compared to ppp map-give richard bulmer at tsl a ring

True mate but a change of turbo would always screw it.

I'm surprised a proper custom remap can't help at all.

Even adding a couple of degrees of ignition timing can help low down AFAIK.

Most Odd, my MY03 STi has 330BHP via remap & Optimax & it sets off like a scalded cat from 3000 rpm - smooth + powerful all the way to the red bit. Still a lardy UK car tho (Which means it had the no-action-to-4000-dead-by-5750-ppp before).
Depends who you ask?
