Hi I am hoping someone who has fitted these gauges can help me out.

I am planning on fitting them myself next week, and have spent a whole day trolling through old threads.

I do know the bung in the engine under the intercooler is M18x1.5.
I also know the thread under alternator for temp is 1/8 BSP.

What I don't know is the size of the defi sensors, I have seen different sizes the more I search the more my head spins!!!

I have read the oil pressure and temp sensors are 1/8 NPT but on the defi site below it says 1/8 PT and you will need to order additional parts for 1/8 NPT.

-Will an 1/8 PT male fit into an 1/8 NPT female? (it doesn't look like it from that link)

-Will I need an adapter from 1/8 BSP to 1/8 PT

-Also if I just leave the original pressure sensor unplugged will I get a low oil light warning on the dash?

Can anyone who has fitted these gauges help me out please?

I fitted mine with no problems, am not sure of the size of the adaptors but i got the info off here and everything fitted ok.

And there's no problem disconnecting the original oil pressure sensor.
