Newbie help Required Urgently please
Hi All
I have recently become the Proud owner of a Silver 02 WRX PPP, I love the car and it's been fine till tonight.
It has 18 K , and full History and warranty, many accessories, all Subaru except a Forge VTA dump valve which was on the car when I bought it.
All was going well till tonight, after a good burst ( car was warm ), the car started making a different sound, similar to the exhaust manifold blowing and the dump valve doesnt appear to be dumping boost, the car only makes the noise under acceleration when the turbo is spinning
Will the Forge VTA invalidate my warranty with the dealer ?
If so, I imagine I Should get it removed before I take it in to them, Anyone.
Also, my service history says I am covered by Subaru Assist, anyone have any contact details for them as I can't find a phone number.
Is there anything obvious I should look for myself,
Thanks a lot Guys

Watch out that the Dealer dosn't use any action against you!
I would change the Dump valve (why did you change it?) back to stock and phone him for assist.
I would think the problem is as above, nice and easy for the dealer to find/correct.
Good luck
