Angry BAD KNOCKING

I went out for a play in my 95 WRX import tonight and suddenly had a slight tapping noise appear, alarm bells started to ring so i headed home nice and slowly. by the time i had made it home, which was only half a mile the sond had become quite a loud knocking even on tickover. Anyway i parked up in the drive and the noise had stopped, well until i revved it and then i could hear it as the revs dropped off. Any ideas what it could be? i do have my suspicions. Please excuse my spelling and grammar as i am a dyslexic *******, and not a happy one at that this evening!

This sounds familiar.

I think you may have suffered a rare case of "knocking bottom end".

Get it checked by a man in the know and dont drive it at all.

You may have to get in touch with an engine builder.

Try clicking your heels three times and Im sure one will apear.

Easy, just call API Engines, ask for David, www.apiengines.co.uk and talk to him. My engine's there at the moment.
Everyone seems to end up there having gone to others.
As to cost, he won't rip you off!

That's why people end up there.

Good luck, 911
