gems or link.

motec is that much more money.

gems for that vintage of car has far more features which might be fun such as antilag.

10 row link is not available fopr that model year, so map on gems will be better.

It really is down to the mapper, and personally I am more keen on the link mappers I know than the one gems mapper I know. Having said that, the reputable mappers may have branched out now.

Worth checking.

Aside from that you might want to consider an apexi power fc from andy f if you are anywhere near scotland.

As Adam said Andy F for a Apexi Power FC, think its £700 fitted and mapped.

Dont think you can get any cheaper for a full replacement ecu.

The Apexi Power FC ECU is unlikely to make any more or less bhp than a properly mapped Link or GEMS etc as they all have a job to do which is getting the fuel and ignition right.
The power and torque are more down to the other modifications and/or the boost level chosen.
For example I mapped a std 95 decat car the other day on Apexi and it was running 295bhp. My WRX RA with more mods ran at 440 bhp on the Apexi, some Skylines run over 900bhp on Apexi's.
