Default Washer jets

Anyone know how to fix these on a MY03 STI UK? Do they just pluck off the top of the bonnet or is there something special I need to do? The one on the drivers side seems to only fire full stream on one jet and the other seems to be dribbling.

Ditto on the pin idea, mine were as you desribe, think they got clogged up a bit with polish, dirt, etc.

That said, I think the outside jets go to the top of the screen and the inside jets go lower so that more of the screen is covered - well, at least mine do but then again their probably shagged

Cheers

Is it easy to take the pipe off and blow through them?!?

Thumbs up

Try cutting off a strand from a wire brush as they are thinner than a pin.
And when you top up the washer bottle use distilled water....this will help the jets from blocking up in the future

Wow! Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Tried the pin trick, but only unclogged it slightly.

Paul: Not for me those! That's one of my pet hates! Totally totally detest those cruddy illuminated washer jets!!!! Aaaarrrrgh!!!

Chris: Yes they do do one high and one low.

Jasoon: You just gave me an idea, think I'll try using my canned air spray.
If that fails I'll try quicksprint's idea with the wire brush.

Cheers guys!
