Default Power Steering pump leak/failure

Driving to work this morning I hear a weird humming noise. On the approach to the work car park smoke starts billowing out from under the hood. When I stop & open bonnet I find PS fluid everywhere. It looks like my tank is leaking or the pump has failed.

Anyhow just drove the car home and by the time I arrived my PS was gone. More smoke

Now been searching the net & it looks like a replacement pump for £95 and a tank for £20 from Glenburgie.

Anybody else had this failure ??

Car is 95 WRX

update - tank removed to find 2 bolts loose on bracket that PS tank secures to the pump. I've ordered a new 'o' ring from Subaru for tomorrow so hopefully this will work OK.

I had same problem, replaced the o rings but didn't solve the problem, try them first though as they are the cheapest option, I have a new pump and resevoir on the way.
