Any ideas how I can hold the dash box cover open - I want to fit an AVC-R in there, but use the lid so that its not always visible . However, if the lid is opened, it slowly closes as the car hits bumps in the road..

I was thinking of a small spring clip (like the one in a joint of a stapler) fitted at the back of the box, between the lid and the frame - This would add some resistance to the lid closing, keeping it open, but still allowing it to be closed 'manually'..

Any idea where I could get one - Or alternate ideas ?
