Default modifying airbox

i have just fitted a stainless induction kit on my96 wrx.i was wondering if i could remove the black box that has the breather pipes connected to it.i wernt to shore because it has a pipe coming from the actuator/boost selonoid.i want to make the intake pipe shorter with less 90 bends in it.

any theroys would be greatfull. thanks

hi mate my 95 wrx came with this pipe on with the hks induction kit on does give it more of a pull hope that helps
.

looks like im going to have to get some pipes made up on my alloy connecting pipe .
