Timing Belt Change
Guys
Im just about to do a timing belt change on a my99, is it best to take off teh front radiator also to give clear access to the front of the car, and the crank shaft ? How long does it noramly take to do a change ?
If any one has a step by step guide I would be very grateful. I do have some manuals off the net but ,,, they are not very good :'(
Cheers

Jon, having literally just got my engine out today, I recon you would be best to remove the rad to get at the covers and the pully. The extra space is huge, and a slipped spanner can't do any expensive harm!
The hose clips are a pig, but all the other pipes pull out of the way and the rad lifts out. Give it a good backflush while you have it out!
Good luck
