Default Urgent Help Needed - De-cat

Hi had a H&S Downpipe fitted at the weekend and put the lambda probe in but there was no hole for the exhaust gas temperature sensor, what shall i do?

What will happen if one is not fitted? and how would i know if my old one is working?

I took the gas temperature sender off my MY97WRX, when I fitted my decat downpipe 2 years ago with out any ill effects.

just spoke to Ian at H&S and he said leave it out, it monitors temperatures after the cat, indicating if your cats knackered, as i now dont have one, if i were to install the sensor, the CEL light would come on, Cheers for your help guys
