Question Weird noise.

Bit of a strange one this...
When the car is idling... (uk98 turbo)
There`s a sound which is almost like running water.

If you rev the car slightly..and lift of, you can hear it..most bizarre.

Only recent thing has been coolant hoses replaced (changed to Samcos)

All the levels are fine, coolant etc..Even checked the oil, incase it was that..nothing. Not even any leaks. Heater also works fine.

Car is running fine too..

I know it`s a long shot, but anyone got an clues ?
I`m totally lost.

Hi Johnny

A mate of mine had a similar prob with his scoob, when he started it up you could hear water running from behind the dash. ( No leaks ) found out it was air locked.

Did you have the heater on hot when you filled the system and ran the car ?
