Just got back off holiday and battery was totally flat, jumped it with the van and after 15 minutes started, but the siren does not work, anybody had similar problems? MY02 with sigma m30.

Standard mate. Get the crappy little jap battery changed under warranty for a big Varta one.

 

I've seen some batteries from the US which come with some kit to fit straight into the Impreza. They are lighter than standard yet more powerful. I can try to find the link if anyone's interested.
