do you need the springs on the two bolts that connect the downpipe to centre pipe??
had alot of trouble undoing the two bolts today, even had to hacksaw one off as it was rusted to hell and back. i went out and bought some nuts bolts and washers to secure the exhaust but didnt use the two hefty springs that were on originally. do i need to go to subaru and get some new nuts and bolts so i can put the springs back on or will it be ok without them???

If you have the oe exhaust, then you should put the springs in.
This is meant to allow the exhaust sytem to flex and absorbe vibrations.
On aftermarket exhausts it may not be neccesary.
