Question Service Manual/Part numbers

Looking at the UK MY96 wagon I'm intending to buy from a friend I notice that what looks like a metal coolant pipe between the radiator and drive belt had corroded badly. Naturally as I'm intending to buy the car this worries me somewhat. This will need changing so I wonder if anyone knows where I can find part numbers for it in a service manual or similar.
We don't intend to take it to a main dealer as the car is getting on a bit for £60 per hour labour charges to be justifiable.

Anyone???????

If this part fails then the car might end up needing a new engine!

Go to the dealer. They will sell parts for you to fit. You don't have to tell them it's an import and most will still help

I know the pipe, replaced my '98 one a while ago.
