Recently I have had the engine replaced on my wrx import but Im not sure if it has been replaced with a jap spec engine or a uk one. I am unsure of what my last engine code was as I never had a chance to look but the one I've got now has ej20 stamped on it. DOes anyone know if this is the correct engine for a 92k import?

Hi mate,your original engine code should be stamped on your vin plate, but ej20 sounds about right, hope this helps Mark.

 

EJ20 is just the engine size there should be a larger part no on the block iirc.
