Default Vents on new age bonnets?

Thinking about a small vent in the new age bonnet, would there be any point in increasing cold airflow to the turbo?

surely vents in the bonnet would help get rid of hot air as well as let cold air enter the engine bay, so it can only be a good thing if they are placed correctly IMHO

Thats what I am hoping but am also worried about affecting air pressure under the bonnet.

I would have thought that vents at the rear of the bonnet, would reduce air pressure under the bonnet, may even stop the front of the bonnet lifting.
