Replacing the winscreen ?
Is it easy to do?
Anyone know where to get good secondhand glass from for a MY99 sport. Near Rochdale. Don't fancy paying the £350 my insurance company want, when i can get it done new from autoglass for £320. |
i had mine replaced through my insurance, £50 was all it cost:)
I was fully comp though. |
av a look on general - you'll see why i'm not going down that route

have you tried rac autowindscreens. go onto WWW .RACAUTOWINDSCREENS.co.uk website or even www.rac.co.uk and look for the link.look out for the nearest branch and ring them for a quote.guarentee you will definately beat the prices you have had.[QUOTE=BaldyMan]Is it easy to do?

I find it difficult to beleive an insurance company will charge so much more (sum of both excess's and the glass one being £100 instead of £50).
Deffinately something wrong there. Do you have fully comp and windscreen cover? IMO,a s/h front screen is not worth it,but then it will only cost me £50. |
