whats the rec max boost u can run on a ver 5 type r???????


we have one with a full exhaust system and blitz filter...

currently it peaks @ 16psi and holds 15psi!!

any ideas or help??

You'd be more likely to get a response if you posted in the technical section. Also the title doesn't give any hint to the content of your post.
I can't answer your question though. I'm just trying to be helpfull.

 

The answer will differ from V5 to V5 simply because one car may det it's nuts off and another won't at a given boost.
The way forward is to Tek3 it and fit an AFR and Knocklink

 

I think Brun's advice is sound.
Out of interest, I run my Stiv3 @ 1.31 bar using a Blitz boost controller. It only has a Magnex decat and green cotton filter on it, runs straight Optimax, no booster, no Knocklink etc etc, runs very well even under competition loading. Delivers 314 bhp/287 lbft torque.
