brakes, discs, pads ????? upgrade
Hi all
My front brake discs are getting rather thin and i need to replace
them ... i have a my98 and am wondering if i put 4 pots in the front
will the front brakes be too strong in comparison to the back brakes
(standard) ... will this greatly influence handling ...
If so should i rather just upgrade everything ...
whats worth it in the followinn
disc
caliphers
pads ....
which are the most important or do they come in an affordable set.
what make or brand should i go for ..???? reasonable prices ....
leeps
thanks in advance

Depending on your budget, but if you spend about £300, you can get yourself a second hand 4 pots with some pads and discs. If you can stretch to £4-500 mark, used Brembos will be available, though they are rare... there are a few for sale at the moment in the sales section. Have a look.
If you are really on a budget, just standard discs and some Ferrodo DS2000 pads will improve from your current setup. And change the brake hose to stainless steel Goodridge, with DOT 5.1 fluid. Stopping power won't improve, but you will get a more responsive brake feel.
