Default Has Anybody Got..?

A pic of a standard (ish) scooby engine with most of the bits identified/pointed out?

I keep reading threads about MAF's, TPS's, O2 Sensors, Crank Sensors, different bits to keep clean etc.

I've got a limited understanding of what's going on underneath the bonnet and it would be great to identify most of the visible/important parts.

anyone?

You could do worse than go here

http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co....e.htm#_Sensors

lists / shows sensors and position on engine.

Maybe try a maintenance manual, they may show them too?

Understatement of the year

I'll happily point the sensors out, so you can use up some of that yellow caliper paint colour coding things.

It will be just like the oil dipstick etc (hope u know where that is) anything yellow check or clean

The clever clogs on here use tons of abbreviations, slowly it all unravels....
Took me ages to realise what TMIC and FMIC were, let alone MAF's.
